Yuan Yu “Michael” Huang, MD
Cleveland Skin Pathology, a Sonic Healthcare Dermatopathology Practice, is privileged to include Yuan Yu “Michael” Huang, M.D., as a member of its dynamic medical staff. Dr. Huang has an extensive academic and medical professional background.
Dr. Huang earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry and cellular biology from Rice University in Houston, Texas, graduating with distinction, magna cum laude. Subsequently, he received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. He then went on to serve a dermatology residency at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, IN, where he served as chief resident. Subsequently, he completed a dermatopathology fellowship at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. During his postgraduate training, Dr. Huang received an award for resident of the year, as well as best resident/fellow oral abstract presentation by the American Society of Dermatopathology. He has participated in various research projects as a primary mentor in the departments of pathology and dermatology.
Dr. Huang began holding key positions in a variety of medical settings throughout his postgraduate training. He is currently a dermatopathologist at Cleveland Skin Pathology in Beachwood, Ohio.
Over the years, Dr. Huang has developed extensive professional experience. He holds medical research publications and articles in peer-reviewed medical journals and has given oral and poster presentations at professional medical meetings and conferences. He is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatopathology, and International Society of Dermatopathology.
Dr. Huang holds full medical licensure and is board certified in dermatology and dermatopathology.
